Laptop won’t display on internal monitor but will display on external monitor after windows 10 upgrade

Hey everyone I’ve been having an issue for a couple days now with my laptop. I just recently upgraded it from a Windows 7 to a Windows 10 and since then my screen on my laptop has been black, it powers up and works on an external screen but not the laptop screen itself. I’ve updated the drivers and I updated the BIOS to its latest version and I’ve tried reinstalling the operating system multiple times and still nothing and I even downgraded the windows 10 system to its previous state which is 1809 to a 1803 because that’s what a windows technician told me to do but still nothin. I also performed a BIST test to make sure the screen wasn’t just broken and all the colors appeared so I don’t think it’s that. If there is any one that has any suggestions I will gladly try them!
