Hi my PSU is making electric buzz sound randomly is it normal? Cooler master MWE 550w I think it is related to PFC because of voltage? Please help

Can we not focus on the buzz and just focus on the fact that that's just not a very good power supply?

Now I'm curious how it was determined that the MWE was better than the VS.  Wow.

 

But yeah.... if they guy's choice is shit or shit and wants no input beyond that.... then he's clearly not open to listening to reason.  Thread closed.

In this case the 600W would have been more better...

isn't the problem related to the PSU being double-forward?

why is group regulation still a thing in 2018 (and almost 2019)?

Naa, sadly its still not cheap enough...

 

And CM should have gone down to at least 550W, if not 500W with DC-DC on MWE...

yes but you know since most prople don't know what DC-DC is

 

they are not going to bother, 

 

they are also double-forward PSUs aren't they?

 

and CX non M uses LLC + half-bridge which is better IIRC, so I'd prefer the CX
