My computer started to freeze randomly but especially when I watch my tv shows.Sometimes in games too.

I have only 1 suspect to blame.I believe it's the HDD but not quite sure and that's why I want to hear your opinion.I opened Task Manager before I started playing an episode of Prison Break and when it froze,I was able to watch the data that task manager recorded.I noticed the HDD was 100% but it wasn't making any noise and Task Manager said the read and write speed were 0.I attached the print I managed to take.

When it was at 100% load the read and write were 0.0 mb/s

The HDD LED was not on,though....

It has windows and data on it,no other HDD in this sistem and it has about 8000 power on hours.

Oh,and...By the way...Lately I've been downloading a lot of data at about 50-80 mb/s so it has been stressed for a month or so...

Try a program like CrystalDisk and see what the results in that.

Also about the screenshot I don't see him promoting piracy so chill out.

You know there are such things as legal torrents :P..... anyway

Download sofrware called Seatools for DOS and burn it onto a disk/USB its bootable so it will test the drive offline. Run a short DST and if that passes a long DST and if it fails either of them. Time to get a new drive

I attached another print which I managed to get right when it unfroze itself. What do you guys say?

In it's entire life the HDD has never got hotter than 28 degrees celsius and the only error HDTune is showing in SMART is that faulty-cable one, which I took care of a long time ago.

The numbers of hours in power-on state : 8126 (~338 days)

I don't think it's gone but I think it's old.I've had HDDs that ran for over 20k hours and did fine 'till the last minute but nothing like this.I'll probably switch to another WD Blue, the new version and keep this one too for games and movies.
