Airport security!?!?!!

Go to solution Solved by corrado33,

I literally called the canadian tsa (whatever it's called) yesterday and they said that "all computer parts/components are allowed in carry on and checked luggage."

I left Canada 5 days ago...and now I'm heading back... I want to take some of my old personal electronics with me.... ...

1. Mywifes tablet and her laptop

2. My old ipad, my tablet and my old laptop

3. 2 old phones

4. A 10TB heardrive full some important files from the pc and nas

5. 5-6 flash drives, a card reader and few micro SD , SD and c fast cards

6. A Canon 1dx mark ii and 2 extra batteries

7. A go pro and 2 extra batteries

8. One stabilizer for my canon and one for my old phones

9. 2 lenses (50mm and 80mm)...

Are these too much ...or should I come back another time to bring these....back... (Before saying why should i bring those back when I can just buy new and better stuff... Well... I have some sentimental and some personal reasons... Just saying ?)

Where did you fly to? That's kind of important since most countries have different rules on what can be bought in your baggage. Especially if it's such a large quantity of electronics, they might question you on why and where it came from.

It's lyrics from a song by Davinci's Notebook titled Internet Porn.

I mean... they're computer parts... They allow full computers through security, I don't see why they wouldn't allow computer parts.

Yes, I am just saying that a clerk at the airport could bring you aside, could be a new clerk, a tired clerk, ego maniac clerk. It is not uncommon, lots of stories online. Batteries, infant strollers, mobility devices, bunch of gadget parts under xray.
