2 Gtx 760 Sli or gtx 1060

Hazem

Hello guys , I have a pc I used mainly for rendering and gaming . I7 3980 cpu overclocked to 4.5 ghz, 32 gb DDR3 Ram and a Gtx 760 inno3D 2gb DDR5 . The pc performance is just fine for me . I'm looking to upgrade my GPU but I'm confused if I buy another gtx 760 or I buy a new gpu . The problem that the gtx 1060 is overpriced in my country (arround 600$) but I can find a Gtx 760 for 100$ so it's better to Sli 2 gtx760 or o should go with a 1060 .

SLI = crap. End of story. Barely any current AAA games support SLI. What does a RX480 or 580 cost?

Definitely get a 1060, or if you can maybe a used 970/980. SLI isn't worth any money at all.

Really i got curious. What country do you live in? Can't you order from ebay? If you can try and find a gtx 970/r9 380/gtx 980/r9 390/r9 fury.

150$ difference between rx580-gtx 1060 is a big difference that doesn't justify the cuda of 1060. You will render fine with the 580.

Exactly. If you're still set on Nvidia, grab a used 980 or 980Ti.

I really don't know how the pricing works but check out Evga B stock.

https://www.evga.com/products/productlist.aspx?type=8

Sort for Price - High to Price - Low, the 980TI KingPin is $319!

And even cheaper ones, along with 1070s and 1060s...

That's a GTX1070 equivalent, so that's a good price. Again, if you're hell bent on Nvidia, that 980Ti is also an okay deal.

I'd sell it for $400 too. Then why even consider the RX 580 at $450? Go straight to Vega if the price allows.

Off topic: I'd love to visit Beirut. Many Greeks there and Lebanon is such a great country.
