Windows TEMP folder in windows 7 not cleaning itself out?

So I noticed today that my SSD was filling up really fast, after a little bit of digging I found my windows TEMP folder is sitting at almost 70GB of CAB files. I understand that these are supposed to be deleted after 7 days but I have some going back to almost 7 months. Is it safe to delete anything after 1 month ago (date modified).

 

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, its partially a troubleshooting issue and partially a windows problem.

 

(Specific directory for this is C:>Windows>TEMP)

Try using ccleaner?

I might but I was just wondering if they're safe to delete cause if they are I will just make a batch file to delete them on boot every two weeks

Well ccleaner has a setting that deletes them only after 24 hours of them being there and I have't had any issues doing that.
