i9 9900k oc

HEllo yall, i dont really know how to overclock and i dont wan to break my new cpu, so can anyone provide me with some safe oc setttings for 9900k on msi z370 gaming carbon mobo for around 4.4ghz to 5ghz? thanks

There are no "safe settings" that work on all CPUs, every CPU overclocks differently.

You need to do it yourself and find out.

Follow an overclocking guide and you won't break your CPU.

Trial and error is usually the best way to secure an overclock. In terms of safety, don't go above 1.45 volts, and I think 1.4 is excessive for everyday use. Try to stick to around the 1.35 volt mark and see what the highest frequency your chip can pull off, unless temperature becomes the limiting factor, then see what the highest voltage your chip can handle is (below 1.35)

It varies CPU to CPU, there are no "safe settings". Generally keep the vCore under 1.35v for 24/7 operation, test for stability and monitor the temperatures.

I think there are safe settings for oc for every processor. For i7-8700k is 4.8MHz for all cores (with decent cooler). For i9-9900k there must be some not extreme OC that anyone (who own i9 9900k and oc it) can recommend.
