It's a small computer with a great purpose, but would you buy it? It's $300 for the Tango and a docking port. It's a great price for what it is and it is strong enough for offices that mostly use web-based software. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/tango-pc-worlds-most-powerful-pocketable-dockable-gameable-officeable-pc And the website is http://tangopc.com/.

What is your guys' (and gal's) opinion about the Tango pc.

Space is pretty awesome.

Definitely sounds like a nice little PC. I'd love to buy one, but I have a question about it. Do all of the actual PC parts come built into it, or is it like the Intel NUC where you have to buy and install the RAM, WiFi card, and SSD? Because if those 3 things + the CPU and whatnot are all already built in, this is a steal for $300 and will, quite frankly, blow the NUC out of the water if marketed correctly, and that's the tricky part.

I'm pretty sure it comes with 2-4GB of RAM and a 32GB mSATA SSD. They make it sound like it comes with 4GB of RAM but 2GB shows up too many times to ignore the possibility.

2GB of RAM for a $300 PC really doesn't surprise me. So either way, it sounds like it comes with all of that other stuff built in. Sweet.

No.

...and they copied the generic Apple commercial.

Just reading the indiegogo page made me facepalm. It looks like a twelve year old wrote it.

it is interesting, but i would much rather have something like what the ubuntu edge was going to be other than this. I just don't see a pocket sized pc being useful unless it is useable on the go. It sort of defeats the purpose.

I've been expecting to see something like this for a while. APU, custom motherboard and RAM, how big does a PC really need to be? Add some flash system memory and an external power supply and yeah, you have something about this small.

This is a pretty decent computer for $300. Great computer to accompany your TV for playing videos and games on it.

I stopped watching when they started to show Gears of War 3 footage.

You can only play that game on Xbox, no other platform. OUYA did this SAME EXACT THING.

Why are you going to show other console footage for your device? This thing is going to be as dead in the water as OUYA.
