recommendation of a good IPS display

i have found out that i want acquire and IPS display. 

 

I havent decide on whether or not i should get an 1440 or 1080 

 

my current GPU is  a gtx 680 wind force 3x OC

 

what do you guys think and maybe you could link some monitors you would recommend in the two categories.

 

as of right now my budget is round 550$ at max

What games do you specifically play? How much memory does your GPU have? I would recommend a 1080p for the sake of the memory bus.

 

 

Korean monitors, look into them and choose.

 

They don't only make IPS monitors....

It is the 2GB version i have. I mostly play MMOs and then just a mix of other games that i find interesting

So the best 24" 1080 ips display are the Dell P2314H or what?

i have read up on the gtx 680 and 1440p performance and it seems like it can run 1440p pretty good.

 

any opinions on the gtx680 1440 performance?

there is one that card is a beast you might lose few fps...bahh its better to check benchmarks online for your card 1080 and for 1440
