Ok so I wanna know what’s better a ryzen 2700 or an i5 8600k for gaming

No cards here, i5 is better CPU.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Ryzen 2600 is best bang for buck right now, I think at $169

 

If you want to step up, 8700K for $300-$330.

Gaming CPU*. The R7 2700 is a better CPU overall though.

Still going to be slower in most games than an overclocked 8600K. However the 8600K isn't nearly as powerful as the 2700/2700X when all threads are utilized.

Overclocked Intel CPUs are faster in gaming than Ryzen, but Ryzen is so much cheaper for only being slightly worse.

i5 is slightly better only in gaming. See all the fps charts available on youtube.

Nowhere. Those are both expensive CPUs, with the 8700k being much more expensive.

They are both quite expensive but the Ryzen is about $30 cheaper.

Still for gaming at the moment -depending on the rest of the computer setup could be the Intel.

 

You could probably find one cheaper if it is in a used state but no guarantee with used hardware as to how it has been handled or how long it will last.
