PC GOES BLUE SCREEN/HANGS WHEN USING BROWSER

Mjvsamonte

Hi guys!

Please help me with the current predicament I have.

I once bought a second hand CPU.

Its specs are as Follows

Processor: i3 4th Gen

Hdd: 250GB

Ram: Kingston 4GB 1333

OS: Windows 7 (Before) / Windows 10 (Present)

The problem I had with the said set-up is that it FREEZES/RESTARTS WITH BSOD whenever I am using any browser (i.e. chrome, firefox, opera, and etc.).

So i just assumed that a reformat would fix it and a new clean drive with Windows 10.... but thats was all for nothing. The problem still persists every time I go to anybrowser.

The pc just runs good with all the games I installed even playing overnight.. Just to get an alternative for browsing I downloaded a bluestacks app just to use an android version of google chrome (kinda sucks cause I only have 4GB ram).

Please help me Master Linus ???

If u want full SS of my specs, I'll provide one when I get home...

Does it crashes directly after you open chrome or after a few page is loaded and running?

I suspect the ram, try reseating or plug it on different slot.

It crashes on different intervals. Sometimes too soon and sometime after a while before it restarts again.. I also have tried changing ram slots and also with a different ram stick but its only 2gb and still it does the same.
