GPU turn off RGB on its own

mk3624

Currently using Asus Strix Gaming OC RTX 2070. The card basically turns off its RGB after few hours I turned on the computer then turn it back on sometimes on its own after few hours.

Happens both when am just web browsing or gaming.

Already updated to the newest drivers.

Using EVGA G+ (the new one) 650w, also tried to swap back to my old Corsair CX 750w (5years old one). Still happens

Using dual monitor set up (1440p 144hz and 1080p 60hz), tried using just the 1440p monitor. Still happens

Anyway to fix this? Or should just go for an exchange before its too late?

Try uninstalling it and leaving it uninstalled. If the error goes away at least we know it's software related. If that is the case then contact asus and see what they say.

RGB is key for me; if it doesn't work, I RMA the part.

Contacted Asus CS, they suggested me to get a service done.

I dont know are you being serious or not. But to me, I am just worried it could be something more serious behind the back instead of just the RGB. Aside from that, if I pay $800 CAD~ for something, I did expect it to work perfectly.
