Why won'y my gtx 1070ti perform at max load!

I used to be able to run this game almost 144 fps with max settings, I have the hardware, why can't I run higher fps anymore. I struggle to run 80 fps and the system is barely being loaded up. Please help, all other games from rainbow six, to csgo, to just cause three are 144 fps locked, why not this game!!!!

I think its The forest I have heard that it has optimization issues with gtx 10 series graphic cards.

try deleting all the game files and reinstall the game. That might work

It is the forest, have deleted game files and done reinstall, nothing seems to help, happens sometimes in other games, I really dont think its a bottleneck, my specs arent bad

My card is even overclocked running at gtx 1080 oc performance, between that with ryzen 7, and ssd I shouldn't have any issues
