This is a bunch of parts I had lying around I threw together into a case. It's some am3 motherboard, with 16GB of DDR3 RAM, with an FX-8320 (may be overclocked), cooled by a GTX H100i v2 (thats too big for the case), a 1TB HDD I pulled from my broken laptop, some wattage PSU, and an R7 370 GPU (I think). I don't expect it to last and I can't stand up the case because of the cooler, but it runs faster than this super old laptop they were on so there happy with it.

Glad that it is working and considering that you put it together with some "older" parts, that's great.  From the pic, the only thing that I can think of to maybe fix it up a little neater would be to find a couple of zip ties or something similar and work on some cable management.  Other than the cable management thing, I'm glad it works.  I have something similar to that over in the corner and the only thing that machine does is run a program called BOINC Manager that is running a piece of software that is called SETI out of Berkeley California.  Looking for alien radio signals from the depths of space.  Right now I am up to 1,516,323.86 work units.

Kind of neat that the only thing that build needs is a new case.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
