is this psu good?

Flawizz

Looks good, if you don't need the modularity you can save 10 euro by using this one, basically the same psu without the modular cables.

As it turns out i was wrong about this, like @Stefan Payne explained in a later reply there are better psu's out there that have better protection and value for the money.

€61 for a PSU that should cost about a third of that? That's overpriced.

It's a decade old.

Safety mechanisms that shut it down safely when something goes wrong.

How about this one, from another store?

If you need it from that website, there's this one.

Wrong. It's total garbage. Cancel that order and get another PSU.

something with more watt perhaps?

You don't need a 600W PSU to power a 300W system. A decent 400W is fine.

is this psu good for this pc? Seasonic M12II Evo 520W

Urgh, why the fuck do people still buy a 2010 PSU?!
Just because "the right label" is on it?! God, I hate that.

If that would have a completely different label on it like Cooler Master, Corsair or others, you'd flame the unit until there is no tomorrow. And that would be deservingly so!

You're wrong and have no idea what the heck you're talking about.

Group regulated units are shit.

Group regulated units without OCP on any rail and UVP on +12V are garbage and must be avoided at all cost!

You people take a shit at the Cooler Master Master Watt Lite but then go buy the Seasonic S12II-Bronze wich is no better (actually the Master Watt Lite is probably better overall). WHY?!

Stop with the "its brand Y, so it must be good" bullshit!

a) for 60€ you can get mid range units with DC-DC, some even 80plus Gold. For example be quiet Pure Power 10/11, Xilence Performance X, some CWT GPS units, Seasonic Focus even. And those are all independently regulated, not just group regulated garbage.

b) Ancient -> released in 2010, no real changes. And they lied on the original Label as well, claimed 2 Rails while using only an 8pin Supervisior and don't have seperated solderjoints or shunts or coils for that as well.

c) in overload situations, it doesn't switch off until the voltage falls to dangerous levels. and there is no undervoltage on +12V and no over temperature protection as well.
