Slow internet but speedtest and steam download speeds tell otherwise

Hi there

So my download speed on speedtest shows around 50Mbps and also on steam it shows 5MB/s even sometimes peeking at 6MB/s

but for some reason my download speed on chrome is only like 68KB/s or 288KB/s max, and also when im downloading updates for my Nvidia driver it shows me 288KB/s and also when i try to watch a stream it buffers alot and lags ass hell even when watching youtube either the video has bad quality or its going to buffer alot.

So was wondering what is wrong with my pc do i need to fix anything or is it a hardware issue pls help me :)

Thanks :)

It's probably because the Nvidia DDL server isn't that fast, which could be the case for a variety of reasons outside your control.

It's probably not your side, but the other end of the connection (nvidia in this case).

Have you tried using a different browser/machine to see if the results are the same?
Otherwise, it's most likely the fault of the server that you're trying to download from.

try different pc on the same network

if its the same

1) the server youre downloading from has low upload or is overloaded

2) ISP is throttling your speed

could be a combination of both (streams are throttled, while driver download server is overloaded)
