Upgrade PSU?

Dinomite07

I bought a Dell Optiplex 3010 i5-3470 @ 3.20Ghz /8Gb/ 1TB Desktop. I am hoping to add a GTX 1050 TI 4GT LP. The desktop is going to come with a 250w psu. Would I need to upgrade my micro ATX psu for the 1050 ti?

Information about watts start on page 16.

You can't upgrade it, if I see it correctly, as it is a proprietary thing.

So you're out of luck and have to live with the Original PSU...

But 250W should be plenty for what you're doin.

The PC you have supports only a very specific proprietary Dell form-factor. 250W is enough for a 1050 Ti and i5 though.

I can buy a $15 Dell Optiplex 275w oem psu. Should I upgrade for safety reasons? I've been researching and alot of people say the psu could overload or the mobo explodes.
