New Computer New Monitor

lostredneck

Im building a new computer with a singe AIO cooled EVGA 1080 TI in it. I know next to nothing about the monitor market. I know I want a curved screen. What are my options where I will still get decent frame rates. Budget around $1000

Thanks

1080 TI should push good frames into the 4k display range. basically, whatever monitor seems like a good one to you. screen size doesn't affect frame rate. a 4k 27" tv is just as complicated to drive as a 4k 87" tv. they both have the same number of pixels to draw. the important consideration for screen size is pixel density. the more pixels per inch, the smoother everything looks. as you stretch the same number of pixels to a larger screen, the individual pixels get bigger and become more obvious. also consider your neck; there's a lot of head swivelling going on if you're sitting only a foot or two away from an 87" tv lol.

get at least a 1440p.. 4k, if there's a good deal on it.

curved screens are definitely the new sexy thing for gaming.

30-35" ultrawide (21:9) seems popular.
