Does anyone feel any aesthetics with Windows 7?

I used Windows 7 when I was young, and I liked it. I liked how it was fast, Aero, the sample music, videos, and pictures that came with it, all of the wonderful themes and sound effects, and I played Roblox on it before it became crappy 2 years before in 2015, I started playing Roblox in 2013. That is the reason why i decided to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Eh, I liked it. I like Windows 10. I don't really care which I use.

It just feels so pretty and fast, and not ugly like Windows 10 and its crappy metro interface.

I am also planning to quit Roblox, became boring, nothing original, annoying, and the admins don't care!

I don't really like Windows 10, but I know I will have to be stuck with it thanks to Microsoft ending support for Windows 7 in 2020.

Honestly, no. I never thought Windows 7 looked good.

i also like the glass/aero look. i often change the theme to make it more transparent or have a smoky look. but windows 10 metro look is growing

Neither do I, I just like the look

I remember when I had my laptop installed with Windows 7 Home Premium, I was astonished with almost everything (moving from XP that day).

I do kinda understand where you're coming from; I used Windows XP & Windows 7 way before I started using Linux. "Aesthetic" for me though would definitely be my old VAIO laptop; something endearing with the default shiny VAIO wallpaper & non-anti-aliased Japanese font

Elementary OS and Kubuntu are very pleasing to the eye <3

I run Ubuntu Gnome though on my laptop.

Yeah, Elementary OS and Kubuntu look pretty polished nowadays

I used to use GNOME but I've switched to KDE since GNOME was giving me RAM usage & performance issues, I really liked my time with it though

Huh, was this before Plasma desktop? It's pretty lightweight now, I get about 600 MB of RAM usage on idle and animations are smooth as butter. (It can occasionally crash when I'm doing weird things with it though, e.g. cycling through themes)

Both, I forgot how much but it bogged down my laptop badly. When I switched to Ubuntu GNOME it's better now, not as I expected but it runs better.

I run KDE on my computer though, openSUSE.

Hm, interesting.

Oh also another actual post for the thread; I found GNOME 2 (RedHat 8) to also be quite a e s t h e t i c, although not quite in the same way as Windows 98 on my old VAIO.
