Britanian

A DIY headset stand, should cost about £10 max.

The tape is green and black alternating eletrical tape and the ? is some kind of stopper, might use a cork or something.

Sorry I dont have anything like what most blueprints are made on, could you tell me what thats called, sketch up or something. Anyway im rambling, heres the plan:post-45119-0-74469700-1388100490_thumb.p

well... It will work.. but will look pretty ugly.

I say go ahead and do it as a prototype then look into making one out of some sexy brushed aluminium using a CAM cutter (if you can access one, if not you can pay people to do it for you).

Now imagine how sexy that would be in brushed aluminium with your name engraved into the side ;)

Yeah but I could buy a proper headset stand for that sort of money. Anyway this is mostly a prototype, I will make a better one or change the design.

But it won't have your name engraved in it ;)

How about a 2D puzzle design made of metal as a second attempt at building a stand? Basically two flat pieces that slot into each other and into a solid wooden base (high quality wood though, let's stay classy). It will be cheap because it will be flat pieces of aluminum and you don't need to worry about how to hold it together because it would just slot into place.

Wow, Claaaaaassy, even has the name and everything. I dont want it to look like a gold plated pimpmobile. I want it to look like something from corsair, simple yet stylish and sleek.

you could use pipe/tube insulation from a home improvement store. soft, padded

and wraps around round tube.. just a thought.

Eletrical tape is quite paded, I might add some extra padding around where the headset sits.
