I would love to see Linus' team design an insane case and system with this guy. (Send Luke if you are busy, Linus) :P

All that person did was build a wooden case and added a rope trim. Might as well just use bathroom sealant, change the title to that, and the video will get a lot more clicks.

Aesthetics! That is the genius of his work. (He shows gratitude for a £70 cable, pretty humble and down to earth)

Have a look at this one

Little more than that, can't exactly buy a gpu with the cooling solution he came up with. It's a complete custom build, not just a case you can drop any itx hardware into

His title is misleading. He build a case out of wood and rope, not the entire pc. None of the pc components is made out of wood or rope.

Who in a world would assume that the components were built from that? This is NOT a misleading title.

His title is, "I build a PC out of rope and wood". "Out of"means the entire build has to be rope and wood only. Cpu, mobo, ram, gpu, ssd, psu, etc are not made out of these two materials.

Oh okay, I see your point, and you're right.

When it came up in my feed I was a bit confused by it too and honestly watched it because I had no idea what he was talking about in the title. Ended up being a super cool project but a bit clickbaity

He can still get a lot of views even with non click bait titles. Too bad he ended up choosing up that route.

When you are sold a stainless steel knife, it can have a metal, wood, plastic or any other handle.
When you are sold a brick house, it can have wooden floors and a thatched roof.

You are being ridiculous.

Yeah but the stainless steel knife is made out of stainless steel and the brick house is made out of bricks. Don't matter what the handle is made out of or type of floors the house has. That clickbait title would be compared to "I made a knife out of stainless steel", but the knife is made out of clay, while the handle itself is made out of stainless steel.

Only if you are absolutely clueless about the conductivity of wood and rope.
