How is this build?.

With the current specs?

Yes, though you need to fix the RAM and as noted above you'll need more storage.  Add a 1TB HDD and put just the OS on the 128gb.

You'll have a nice budget system.  When eventually you find a game that wants more cores, or a better GPU and you'll upgrade from there.

I have been trying to build a good gaming PC under $600 .
Are these specs good ?. And most importantly , for how long will this PC be able to run AAA games on high settings @30-40 FPS?.

EDIT : Can this PC be called a 'Console Killer' in any way?.

But it's DDR4

That doesn't change anything. 4GB is not really adequate for modern gaming, as it can introduce issues with stuttering in games.

I can understand.

But how long will this PC last if I use 8 GB RAM?.

Doesn't matter.  Get 2 4GB dimms for dual channel and if you can, get 3000mhz.  Ryzen like faster ram.

With the 1050 Ti, I imagine it could last you at least 2 years doing what you want.

This is true, though if 2400MHz is that much cheaper, it's not going to make a monumental difference.

Agreed, and with the am4 board the OP could potentially use 'this PC' for a long time if he upgrades the CPU to an R5/7 or even the new Ryzen+ or later Ryzen 2.  All of which are supposed to work on the platform.

That storage space will fill up quickly.

What's the motherboard? Also, PSU model? There are many 500w units out there, quite a lot of them are bad.

I have not chosen a mother board yet.

Which one do you suggest?.
