AMD Athlon cooler?

SirGeneral

Are you asking for the stock cooler or a cooler recommendation?

Where are you shopping/located?

I bought an Athlon x4 860k a couple years ago and it came with a stock cooler but I would recommend upgrading to a hyper 212 evo asap

The hyper 212 evo is around 30 bucks on Amazon.com right now.

So shopping in the US?

Unless you're buynig the tray cpu instead of a boxed cpu, it should come with a stock cooler.

Something like a Gamaxx 400 will give you better temps for less money than a Hyper 212. It also comes with a blue LED fan so there's that too and the cooler is easy to install.

The stock cooler comes with preapplied thermal paste and should be enough for cooling already.
