NOTE: There isnt any confirmation of BIOSTAR rolling out AM4 BIOS updates.

There seems to be a huge variety of motherboards of which support this AM4 BIOS update which is a bonus for consumers buying the new APUs. I think its good that AMD isnt like intel, because intel has to make a new platform for every new CPU they release, but AMD are just making newer motherboards with newer features (X470 in this case).

I find it mildly amusing that Gigabyte has decided to make the BIOS versions identical for all their motherboards, save for one.

It's also amusing how they updated the AGESA code....to the original version.

From the F10 BIOS

Quote

Update AGESA 1.0.7.2a for Raven Ridge CPU support

From the F20 BIOS

Quote

Update AGESA 1.0.0.0a for new upcoming processors

I'm thinking that should have been a 2, instead of a 1.
