LG vs LG/ 1080p vs 1440p wide

Hello,
First of all some info:
Now Im using benq gl2460 (and Im ALMOST happy, started to feel that its not enough)
gpu: gtx 1070
Games pref: Witcher 3, Dark souls 3, Destiny 2, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 2 (just some reference what I could go play on a new display.

So now Im choosing from:
LG 34UM88C (570 eur here) - why? Its 1440p (never tried it but after some research and some videos of Witcher 3 ZOOM comparison found out that its pretty much a nice thing to have), better PPI, overall good reviews on net.

LG 34UC79G (570 eur~ here) -why? 144Hz never tried it but also a nice thing to have much smoother picture. its 1080p (little bigger but almost) so with my gtx 1070 I can handle those 144 or at least 100+ in the games it supposed to be like that.

So what u guys suggest go with 144Hz but 1080p, or 60Hz but 1440p (overall its same thing coz not I would have 144 fps in Witcher 3, nor stable 60 on 1440p I think mby if lower graphics)
