Tr9 has a stud in the middle of the fastener, and you need a tr9 screwdriver to open it properly. But you can use a small flat-head screwdriver and force. The stud might break off, but then you can use a larger flat-head (or a regular t9) screwdriver to undo the screw.

@WolfLoverPro

T = Torxbit

9 = the size of said bit.

Expensive? I picked up a set of phillips, flathead, torx, TR torx & a few others in a 100 piece kit for about $10 at my local hardware store (Bunnings in Australia) and they just slot into your regular hex headed shaft on a regular screw driver or ratchet driver.
