please don't build with a kaby lake i5, ryzen 5 1600 is a better option or even the 8600k

looking to turn this build into a 3 monitor setup is there anything you would change or any possible problems, for example, having a 3fan 1080

i would get a better processor. the i7 7700k would fit neatly with that gtx 1080, if your wallet allows it, that is.

Maybe get the Noctua NH-U14S for cooling the cpu? I heard it is one of the best cpu coolers for the price :D

I agree in the fullest. Besides that its a great choice. I'm a fan of 3 fan design (no pun intended), but it's up to aesthetics.

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 MOBO: MSI Tomahawk B350 GPU: Reference cooled GTX 980 Storage: Intel SSD5 256Gb RAM: 8gb Geil EVO Potenza Case:  Phanteks p300 PSU: EVGA 500 watt CPU Cooler: AMD wraith spire

Steam: maxarooni4

Battle.net: MAX

Three fan design will usually have better cooling performance due to increased airflow. Blower style is designed for smaller cases.

Edit: The blower style is a lot cheaper, so it's up to price or performance.
