Posted October 2, 2017 I'm going to be building a new gaming PC-Thanks to Linus of course(and also Luke if you know what I mean) I've narrowed it down to two options which are WD Black Or BarraCuda Pro I know that WD Black is noisy from what I've read and came out in 2013 Barracuda Pro is also really slim and came out in 2016 I think the extra seven dollars is really worth it No Hating! BarraCuda Pro-https://pcpartpicker.com/product/KX7CmG/seagate-barracuda-pro-2tb-35-7200rpm-internal-hard-drive-st2000dm009 WD Black-https://pcpartpicker.com/product/XtjG3C/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd2003fzex Does anyone know the warranties for these things? Posted October 2, 2017 regular non pro seagate barracuda "I'm so glad you're my partner in crime." "It's the power of best friendship, I know how you roll." "Chloe, my powers might not last." "Ready for the mosh pit, shaka brah?" "Yes, we'd be tearing up the highway. And you'd probably want me to kiss you again..." "I always wanted my life to be special... an adventure... but not without you." "Because we're back in action again!" "With great power comes great bullshit." "Max you are not crazy. You are not dreaming. It’s time to be an everyday hero." "I wish I could stay in this moment forever. I guess I actually can now, but then it wouldn’t be a moment." "If that tornado came right now, I would just sit here and watch for a while." "You're right. We hella deserve this. Splish splash." "Can we build another pirate fort and keep the world out?" "When a door closes, a window opens... Or, something like that." "Listen, whatever happens, I want you to be strong. Even if you feel like I wasn't there for you because I will never abandon you Chloe. I'll always have your back. Always."
 Posted October 2, 2017 I vote for the Black, I've had one of the 1TB drives for 6 years and it's still going with no errors for that whole time, I also have a Seagate dating back to 2011 but that does make some noise and hasn't been used for that many hours. Posted October 3, 2017 As far as the BarraCuda Pro listed (ST2000DM009) goes, it has a 5 year warranty and a 2 free years of Rescue Services. Thank you for considering Seagate, regardless of which route you go!
