Logitech Z623 vs Z625 2.1 Speakers

OK, so these speakers are bothe preety good general purpose and music listening speakers both are 2.1Ch speakers. But Amazon displays the Z623 as Analog, and the Z625 as Analog/Optical, what does this mean? Help.

 

Both speakers have the exact same specs, with the exception on thet. Their RMS is 200W and a peak of 400W, their frequency is 22Hz- 20Ksomething Hz

Analog means it has analog inputs such as RCA or AUX cords like 3 or 4 ports to make 5.1 or 7.1. Optical means SPDIF inputs.

Oh its 2.1 so 2 ports, one for left/right, another for subwoofer.
