SD card reader on asus PC does not read

My SD card reader on my M23AD asus tower is not reading. All the other IO is working fully. So I need any suggestions as to what is the problem and how I can fix it. I am a photographer and need the photos uploaded tomorrow. This is very time sensitive. The windows operating version is windows 10 64 bit. Please, I need the help. Thanks

is it detected in device manger?

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB 

138 is a good number.

open the case and see if the card reader is properly plugged in

buy a card reader if it is properly plugged in, that reader is just dead.

Thanks, I opened the case right now, and it turns out that it is dead, will keep in mind for future pc's
