Must Dos after a clean install of Windows 10

What are your changes you must do after re-installing windows? Registry tricks? Turning off certain services?

I usually disable automatic updates as well, though that's not really an option with Windows 10.

I do: Start > Settings, and I configure Windows the way I like it. Including turning off suggest apps from the Start Menu, and make it show only live tiles (full app list still accessible via a button.. so kinda like older Windows Start Menus, but more compact)

 

Then I open Folder Option panel (Start > type: Folder Options), then go under "General", and set "Open File Explorer to:" to "This PC". Then I uncheck the check boxes: "Show recently used files in Quick Access", and "Show frequently used folders in Quick access" Then I go under the "View" tab, and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types", and "Show sync provider notifications"

 

Finally, I add folders I use often in the Quick Access section in the left column in File Explorer (just drag and drop them)

 

And that is about it. I do more on my Surface. But that is specific to the system.

Well first off I fix my screens so they are in the right order, then I download chrome. From chrome I install GPU drivers, steam, Spotify and discord. That's about it.

Remove all the crap M$ shovels down your throat like candy crush along with pre-installed junk apps that you don't need (most of which will have to be force removed via powershell)
