Cheap Low Input Lag 1440p Monitor?

I have been searching for days now for a decent 1440p monitor.

 

I have a GTX 1080 and I'm planning to slap it in a new R5 1600 build. The thought about going 1440p was that the 1080 is probably too overkill for 1080p, especially with the 1600.

 

I really don't want to spend a ton of cash on a monitor, but I would like it to be 27" 1440p. I bought the BenQ GW2765HT and I am now returning it, simply because of the god-awful input lag. I play a lot of Osu when I'm in the mood to and the input lag really was awful.

 

Are there any cheap, 1440p low input lag monitors out there for like £300? Or should I just stick to 1080p and delay 1440p until some time in the future?

 

I bought the BenQ off Amazon for £220 so I'd rather not spend an extra £200 on top of the price.
