Best Smart watch for android right now

I am shopping around as i need a new one (R.I.P) first gen moto 360) and im wondering Whats the best one to get (price is irrelevant).

 

Also whats linus rocking these days? looks like the higher end Huawei

Zenwatch 3 just finally got Android Wear 2 and apparently the update is pretty bad.

AW2 in general or the update is super buggy? I was looking to trade in my moto360 sport for one since Motorola killed off any and all smartwatches and their updates...

I've heard a ton of complains about battery performance mostly for the Zenwatch 3

Mine is fine, end of the day at 67 percent. Granted I didnt use it alot and not for the whole day I have heard people say that when you first get the watch/update it the performance and battery is bad but it gets better. Plus it charges fully in like 30 min or something and looks sexy af

So at work today one of my clients showed me his Gear S3 fronteir edition and it had both samsung pay and an actual microphone/speaker combo. It was badass and honestly I totally need one in my life now. Anyone know of anything similar? I had moto360 but my refurb unit had  a 3 hour battery life and went from "turns on moodily" to "I'm not going to turn on".

I'm gonna be honest here, save your money. Android Wear is far from developed or integrated. Buy a bunch of Pizza or something.

S3 non-frontier or Gear S2 if S3 is too much $$$'

 

I would get a Gear S2 but the amount of support for AW is so much better. Better UI vs better 3rd party support, including Strava which I use daily... rip

 

also anyone know of any Android Wear watches with GPS for under $200 besides the moto360 sport?

I didnt think it was that bad off, and i actually have a use for it from a professional standpoint. But i do know its still not where it needs to be

I also kinda think just because it's stiill early tech doesn't mean its bad. The guy I mentioned today litterly tapped his watch to the pinpad and it went. Sure it saves you 20 seconds, but with how long the chip transactions are taking, plus the amount of times people get pissy about the chips buzzer it's pretty legit he could do that. The real big thing for me is that ability to talk into it as if it was a phone. My car isn't bluetooth, so I could really use it, and on top of that it'd be nice for music or whatever should I not want to use my phone. Overall I just feel it's best to get used to it now.

Smart Watches are far from early tech now. Apple is currently far and away leading (although that was always going to happen since they have full control over how everything works) and there really isn't and reason that Android Wear should be so far behind.

Gear S2/S3 are so good but the S3 is pretty pricey otherwise I'd buy it as I don't like the look of the S2. I think I am going to trade in my moto360 sport for a Huawei Watch 2 today, it's down to $220

I received a Series 2 Apple Watch as a gift and I love it. Defiantly wouldn't pay for it for myself but more than willing to receive it as a gift
