EVGA G2 650W vs Corsiar TX650M

Go to solution Solved by iRileyx,

The G2 is one of the highest quality power supplies you can get, above the TXm, so i'd go for that.

how much is the G2 you're looking at? can get a RM650x by Corsair for 79.99 at the moment, on sale at Scan. it'd be a better choice than the G2.

Which one is better?

I know that the EVGA unit is a superflower built PSU and the Corsair is channel well. The EVGA is most probably better but is it justifiable for £10 extra as I don't care if it is semi/full modular.

Also which one would be the quietest? that is what I am looking for ATM. (my current one is fine but is noticeably louder than the rest of my system.)

Or if you can recommend others in the same price range that are as good or better that would be great. xD

Thanks for any reply.
