3D printing RAM covers?

I have a 16gb kit of G.Skill NT RAM and I'll be the first to admit it looks ugly as hell. If I 3D print RAM covers, should I be able to not have the plastic melt?

I don't RAM would get hot enough to melt any 3D [printing] materials.

*googles what G.Skill NT RAM looks like*

Ah, they look like printed circuit boards.  God, I hate it when computers look like PCBs.  Who ever thought that a computer should look like a collection of PCBs in the first place!?

PLA is printed at about 190-200C, so RAM won't be hot enough to melt it. If anything, it might (but probably wont) get hot enough to warp the print a little.

It would probably be prone to warping at about 60C ish..

I saw ABS temps as well and it should hold up until 100-110C and RAM isn't supposed to reach that high.

As said lower temp plastics like PLA may soften, ABS should be alright as RAM only get a little warm. There are metal heatsink or covers you can get for RAM which are for watercooling but you can just have the plates on the RAM.
