PSU 8pin EPS under motherboard oke?

chexor

I built a new system, and in my case there was only 1 hole for CPU cable to go, but it is under motherboard (it is 3cm from top of case).

Bottom line, psu cable EPS 8 pin is going about 2 cm under my, hole is far left side, under PS2 connector and usb2.0, should i be worried about cable melting or something like that, there are sharp edges under mobo, and cable of PSU has no statick mesh (cables are black, good quality psu)

P.S. system is working fine, just asking for future, here's picture of my mobo from internet, circle is point where cable enteres, and rectangular is about place where cable goes out (right side of screw near end of mobo)

Should be fine, but if you ever take it apart you should move it.

As long as the cable isn't pinched it shouldn't be a problem.

I've dealt with this on several mini PC builds. As long as the cable is able to plug in without too much of a bend, you should be fine.
