Hi all,

 

I want to utilize the M.2 slots on my Asus Maximus IX Code, but I need help deciding on one. I don't know where to start, so does anyone have any suggestions and reasons for why they suggest this specific drive? It has to have at least 500gb of storage.

[First is PCIe and last are SATA].

 

I can also add the SU800 to the [SATA] list.

Not really. Take a look at my edit above.

 

The 960 EVO is PCIe, but the rest are SATA.

 

If you have a lot of startup programs, NVMe can offer some needed bandwidth and latency. If you're a normal user who has a blank desktop, go SATA.
