Good mobo for itx?

I currently have this build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wGTwbj and I've come to the conclusion that I don't really need more than 1 PCI slot.

 

So I've decided to go mini, im slowly working towards this build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/EnergeticTk/saved/GXdVnQ

 

My question is, is the AsRock H81m-itx a good mobo for a gaming / daily work purpose?

 

I'm willing to spend some more bucks if necissary.

Doesn't really matter what motherboard you have, as long as it's not a very budget brand like ECS or Biostar (for that generation).

As long as it has the ports and connectors you need, then you're good to go.

You are downgrading your motherboard. You spend that money for no performance gains.

Why would it make a difference, and is it a noticable difference? I've heard that the mobo hardly affects performance. Kinda new in the mobo stuff

I say that you are going to spend money and you won't get any faster pc which for me is kind of waste of money. Your choice

Fair point, the reason why im ordering it is because im going to order a new cpu cooler (cryorig c7) and 2 fans for front intake (took me a year to realise i dont have those installed, because the stock cooler gets way too loud. So I've got to get the thermal paste of the cpu bla bla. The point is I dont feel like taking my mobo apart more times than necessary, so its easier to change the mobo at the same time since the cpu is out of my current motherboard already.
