B350 ryzen 5 1500x latest bios 8gb ram (3.95 usable) WTF Windows 10/64bit

WINDOWS 10 /64bit

 

I have had so many issues yesterday with my PC, couldnt install windows 10 at first, after bios update it was fine.

Now i have problem with memory, i have 2x4gb kingston hyperX 2400mhz paired sticks, they work, i can see their models in BIOS, but in bios on information page it shows 4gb physical memory (even tho when you go to memory tab you can see 2 dimms with 4 gb), and in windows 10 it shows 8gb of memory but 3.95 are usable.. 

I have MSI b350 PC mate motherboard and ryzen 5 1500x

No, windows 10 64bit, but i dont think it's about windows, when i used factory bios that mobo came with, i saw same thing in bios, it shows 4gb only in bios, only when i go to memory tab, there i can see dimms 2x4gb, and bios update didnt fix it..

 

P.S. Memory that i have is listed on MSI website as supported. (supported 1,2 and 4 dimms)

What? No.. Everything is fine with slots and memorys on physical level..

It detects both memorys with full specs etc.. But for some reason only 3.95 usable..

I didnt install one driver from MSI website: Type: on-board vga driver (but in title > Amd chipset driver) it is 1gb, should i try that?

Oke, i have tried LOT of things: both xmp profils, no xmp profile, updated to latest bios, checked and uncheckd memory thing from msconfig.

Here's a pictures from BIOS, i am 80% sure that this is not OS related..

You can see in memory tab it detects just fine both dimms, and in every memory configuration, both dimms are present.

P.S. same thing 4gb in bios was even before i updated bios to latest or installed windows 10.

Well that memory is on the QVL. 

Have you tried using this bios? It has new Agesa features and should help your SK hynix sticks since other brands other than Samsung seem to have more issues.
