1050 Ti SSC problems

After installing my shiny new EVGA GTX 1050 Ti, I thought everything would go smoothly.

I was wrong.

I use Motherboard audio instead of the card audio, and the card is the only thing outputting audio. what do I do? I WANT the sound to come out of my MB, but I can't figure out how. I'm using the HDMI port hooked up Via hdmi to vga dongle.

Uhh, have you tried setting the MB audio as the main device? Go down to the sound icon, right click, go to 'output devices' or something similar, then find the MB audio, right click on it and set it as default device.

idk

Hmm, any way to check device manager? See what audio devices are available? Could be disabled.

Check with your mobo manufacturer on the site for Realtek drivers, could be missing them (It happened to me took me hours to get it sorted until I checked the manufacturers.

Also check on the motherboard subform for further assistance sounds more of a mobo issue than a GPU one :/

Hmm, try the Realtek site (old ass code/design) they will have some form of driver to download from the 1990's / 00's.

Good good, let me know how this goes! Realtek may be old but they can save the day (when you are desperate!)
