Yeah I wish I still had my old card worth about £20 but it would have done the job, could have given you it :/

I would install the windows 7 drivers, you might be surprised 

 

What HP do you have? 

 

I have dealt with a lot of prebuilds and the audio works AOK with a graphics card

 

Should look like this?
