rainbow six siege performance issues

SO after a year of not playing Rainbow 6 Siege i started playing it again. And even with tweaking of my settings the game is unplayable. Whether I run the game maxed out or on lowest possible settings in 1440p I cant get anywhere close to 60fps and the input lag is extreme as well. I never had these issues before. I updated my drivers per clean install and also did a clean install with DDU, but it didnt fix anything. My CPU usage is always around 50% and GPU usage around 30%. RAM usage gets to 9GB at best when i have a few chome tabs open parallel to the game. 

I would appreciate any help!

You should be able to run this game easily. Maybe try to reinstall the game?

did two times, one time without hte hd textures and one time with hd t extures, didnt change anything. It used to work likea charm 1 year ago and my brother has an i5 as well and a gtx 1080 non ti and for him it runs fine as well

Did you make sure that everything is gone? Sometimes the config files etc stay somewhere on your hard drive.

As stated in my post, i have done a regular uninstall followed by a DDU uninstall and then i tried it again and just used the DDU uninstaller and it didnt do anything

got it sorted out, was a bug with nvidia share, i turned it off and on again and now i am running 120 fps on high settings

Did you even read his first post? He was running it fine before with the same specs.

I'm getting about 100Hz in R6S, it's not a bottleneck.
