best way to clean monitor

i purchased my ASUS ROG PG278Q in late 2015 and havent cleaned it yet, i attempted to clean it but it just won't clean off, its really really filthy and even sometimes distracting me when gaming, is there an easy cleaning solution?

A little bit of Windex and some elbow grease might help. Although Windex is not recommended on glossy screens.

its extremely matte, pretty much 0 gloss at all

Than it should be fine with a microfiber cloth, but look out youre not leaving smears on the screen by not drying the screen too.

dont use Windex just a damp cloth and a little dish soap and that all

I use distilled water and a microfiber cloth

I use glasses cleaner, then I usually clean my glasses as well.

But seriously, I clean my monitors with a dish cloth and a little water usually. Sometime use a eco glass spray my wife buys and it all works great.

But, heres the weird thing - I clean the screen every time I set the PC up to have a game LOL!
