Setting up my monitor it's stuck on 60hz using the dp cable that came with monitor how to I get it to 144hz ?

cmon you have to give a little more info

step 1 give some more info about your specs -> is your pc able to output 144hz?

try checking your nvidia or amd control panel, hopefully nvidia in case you want to use gsync and check for the resolution/hz rate settings

Sorry people I'm not very tech savvy specs are i7 4790k 16gb and 980ti although I'm going to attempt and possibly break my pc later by putting a 1080ti in lol
