I have the G502 and I really like it. Never tried any Razer mice so I cannot comment on that.

You'll be fine with either. Logitech will last longer, Razer will feel better.

May I ask, why is everyone hating on Razer?

Depends on what you need them for. Both are suitable for palm and claw grip, if that's what you are going for. The G502 is more of a productivity and multipurpose mouse. Its main drawback is the weight which makes in unsuitable for low-sensitivity FPS gaming. If your are mainly buying a gaming mouse for FPS games, the DA Elite is the better choice or if you want to stick with Logitech, the G403 is a good alternative.

I have a Logitech G502 and love it. The only drawback is its weight. I've programmed many buttons to my needs and (as Pandalf said) its great for productivity.

I find it just fine in casual games, but if your gonna play something competitive like CS:GO you better consider a lighter mouse, as its a bit heavy when you try to lift and reposition it.

I've never used Razer mice before so I don't know about that.

Well I haven't play a few of them , but this is what I say: If you need to change your mouse position very often(like lifting and placing it somewhere else on the mousepad) a lot, and need lightning fast movements, don't get the G502, its too heavy for that.

If your a casual gamer like me, who plays campaign a lot, Doom, BF1 campaign etc.... the G502 is perfect!

I've played Crysis, and CoD games with my G502, and I feel its great.

Because Razer has a reputation like Apple, and due to the high volume of products they sell they have a lot of people to complain about their quality control.

Also, you don't need a Razer product to participate in this https://www.razerzone.com/paid-to-play

Basically free hardware if you play overwatch/league daily. That's how I plan getting my first Razer product. :)

I wouldn't spend money on them for personal reasons (ignoring questions about their products on every channel except for tech support, which told me he couldn't do anything for me). For buying, my next one's going to be a Nixeus Revel personally. I like companies that aren't too big/full of themselves to respond to users.

Well according to Logitech's website the G502 is around 121g (Without cable).

In the MadCatz website (I couldn't find the RAT 5) the 6 is 120g.
