What is this weird hatch on the Phanteks P400S?

In the image below, which depicts the Phanteks P400(S) from behind, one can see there is a hatch with two screws to the right side of the expansion slots. What is this hatch? I looked through the manual, but it is not numbered or mentioned anywhere.If I use all of my imagination, it almost looks like a 2-slot expansion bay. Would this mean Phanteks is planning for some kind of mod that allows for stand-up GPUs?

Its to get at the thumb screws for the PCI slots easier. It is not intended for PCIE cards. @Zusafek can verify

So... one would need to detach a thumb-screwless panel to get access to thumb-screws? Lol?

The panel has thumb screws.

Yep.  Its actually designed to help hold the pcie cards you put in more securely as well.  It makes it so you can't just accidentally undo the screws, for example, on your gpu and have it pop loose from the motherboard.  The only issue I run into with that section of the case is with certain dual slot graphics cards you might have to remove one screw below to make it easier to put in and remove.  But you just put everything back and alls good in the world.
