Mac Pro SSD options

Patrick1610

Hi!

I've got a Mac Pro (Early 2009) and it still has the mechanical hard drive.

I would like to give it a performanceboost by upgrading to SSD.

I am wondering If it is worth to upgrade to a PCIe SSD (like the HyperX Predator) or go for a sata SSD. The Mac Pro only supports sata-II. I Will not be needing storage so 128/256 is enough!

Regards Patrick

id probably just get a sata2 ssd, sata ii won't be a big limit on speed(im running a ssd on sata ii and its feels the same).
