Upgrading cooler while upgrading CPU (not OC-ing)

Gmanliving

I am about to swap my 6700 for a 6700K and was wondering what cooler to get. For those wondering, I will not be overclocking but the 6700K upgrade is coming with a 1080 FTW for $50, hence I'm going for it.

I want a low profile cooler since I don't like the look of the tall heatsink covering the pretty motherboard and ram. So I put eyes on the Cryorig C7.

Just wanted to know if this is a good choice, or if a low-profile air cooler will result in lower cooling effectiveness and I should choose something like the H7.

Would there actually be much of a difference between the two if at all any?

If you are not going to OC, the performance gains will be miniscule when compared to the added cost of a cooler + k sku CPU. Also using a low profile cooler like a C7 is better than a stock coller, but much less effective than a proper tower cooler.
