Will this play well?

My rig sports Gigabyte's 1070 Xtreme Gaming with an i7 7700k. Do you think it will play nice with a 1440p Monitor with 144hz? It also has GSync if that helps. The monitor is this one: Dell S2417DG. Thank you in advance! ;)Dell S2417DGDell S2417DG Dell S2417DG

depends on the game, on most games 1070 will do 1440p 60 fps or 1080p 144 fps, 1070 sli can push 1440p 144 fps on some games.

Hm. So should I go 1440p 60hz or 1080p 144hz? Leaning towards 1440p tbh.

I am told that if you go 144 hz, you will never want to go back. Just because of how a cursor looks on the desktop. So, maybe that could be a factor too.

up to you, 1440p 60 hz is what i would go for, perfect resolution for gaming and productivity.

What I mean, is that many will never go back to low refresh rate. So you will be spending even more in the future.
