No comparisons between 8350 and 1400/1500X?

So ryzen 5 has almost been out for a week now and i haven't seen anyone compare the 8350 to any of the 4C/8T CPUs from the ryzen lineup? has anyone seen anyone compare these CPUs or is it just me?

Because the difference is like massive and people have compared the 8350 to Intel lineup and right now you just compare stuff from the latest offering from both sides.

Go check OC3D, he compared it to the old FX CPUs.

Even R5 1400 is a huge upgrade over the FX 8350.

Mostly because FX line up is obsolete and should be put to rest already.

Yeah, I agree with everyone on this thread, FX8350 vs even the 1400 is no contest. I had the FX8350, and felt like I was running a Pentium III compared to the other CPUs out there. My buddies Athlon X2 beat my FX in single threaded workloads, even. 

I spend most of my time on Autodesk and Caffe. CAD is great, as long as you know what you're doing.

Yes, you can game on FirePro Cards, it's just overkill if you never use it's full abilities. 

 

Sherlock: 128 Core Render Server (32 Nodes, Matched Core 2 Quads, 8GB DDR2) running HPC Service Pack 1 on Windows Server 2016. Just because, you know, who doesn't want to render in real time? (Plus I don't pay the power bill)
